What exactly is paintball?

Paintball is a game played with two teams firing non-staining, biodegradable paint balls, which burst on impact. When you’re hit, you’re eliminated from that game.

Throughout the whole day our trained marshalls will ensure you play safely at all times and keep track of the team scores.

Benefits of playing paintball?

Paintball has proved to be an extremely popular activity for corporate events, stag days out, teenage parties, as well as other types of group days out, because paintball is excellent for team building as it engages a team in an activity which demands various skills and techniques and is good fun and good exercise.

Paintball is an excellent team-building activity as the paintball team has to utilize a wide range of skills such as communication skills, planning, cooperation, decision-making and effective use of resources.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

All the equipment you will need is supplied however you might wish to bring a change of clothes and suitable outdoor footwear as the games are played in the woods.

Can I bring my own paintballs?

Under no circumstances can paintballs purchased online or from any other paintball shop be used at any of our paintball venue.  Only paintballs purchased on the day at our paintball site venue can be used.

Can I bring my own equipment?

We have special days and tournaments which cater for walk-on players with their own equipment but please contact us before turning up. Last Sunday of each month is especially reserved for walk-on players and pre-booking is essential.

Please also note that all Walk On markers must be 280fps and 10.5 bps, semi only, no ramp.

How old do I have to be to play paintball?

The minimum age for playing paintball at Gunsmoke Paintball is 12 years old and you will need parental consent to be able to play. Many parents also play paintball making it a great family activity.

We also have Gunsmoke Splatmaster kids which is low impact paintball especially for 8-11 year olds.  Parental consent is needed and an adult must be in attendance.

Please note that we will confirm bookings with you so please ensure that you supply a contact number.  To avoid any disappointment, you MUST book in or call in to reserve your place rather than just turning up on site on the day.
