To date our location has been used for filming of a short film by a local film director and we have provided paintball equipment and players for filming use.
When we aren’t running paintball games, we like to promote paintball and we had an amazing opportunity to do this when we were asked to take part in one of the Top Gear Specials (Top Gear at the movies) at a secret location.
It’s a tough job but someone had to do it and as we were already fans of the BBC Top Gear Show and always enjoyed seeing their specials it was an easy decision. Our job was to chase after Richard Hammond in various vehicles and try to shoot him (whilst he was in his car) with our paintball markers. We had a great time doing it and something we all would love to do again.
We were very pleased to be asked to help out on Why Trenches? Part of the WW1 Uncut Series with Dan Snow.
Trench warfare is one of the defining features of the First World War, Dan Snow and One Show regular Michael Douglas find out why trenches were necessary – with the help of paintball markers.
We supplied paintball markers, equipment and players for filming. We had the task of laying down fire to demonstrate how difficult it was for a soldier to be above ground in World War 1 with Michael Douglas trying to cross a field without getting hit. We used our Browning paintball machine gun for this along with markers.
